Softwood Gates
Our softwood gates are all made from Scandinavian Redwood, which is sourced responsibly from FSC registered forests. The timber we choose is of the highest quality - known in the joinery trade as unsorted timber.

Our Scandinavian Redwood gates are always pressure treated – this includes the tongue and groove or featheredge boards, whichever our client chooses. The pressure treatment adds a natural looking green hue to the timber which when left to season fades to a silver colour, however, we recommend a micro-porous stain is applied to protect the gates from all weather conditions.
All our Scandinavian Redwood gates are framed, ledged and braced – mortise and tenoned in the traditional way to ensure strength and durability. Scandinavian Redwood gates are a very cost effective way to enhance your garden or entrance. All our designs can be created in softwood and can be automated if required.
